THE GOATS - The GOATS golf society, in association with David Myers Golf Academy, organises golf events for business men and woman on Championship courses throughout the U.K. Each event is organised to create a professional, all encompassing environment to maximise your business contacts while enjoying the pleasure 18 holes has to offer.
David Myers -David has been a PGA qualified professional for over sixteen years, teaching children and adults at Marple Golf Club. He is Director of Golf for Stockport Schools, Community Golf Coach for The Golf Foundation and The English Golf Union and has recently pioneered a project for teaching disabled students throughout the Greater Manchester area.
Our rules are very simple in that:
- Annual Membership is £50 2013.(One payment includes 2013 seasons)
- We play throught the year at good quality venues.
- The competitive element is based on Stableford system with full handicap given.
- The best 3 gross Stableford scores over the year (including our last event which is Mandatory) wins the Claret Jug.
2012 and 2013 promises to be another enjoyable year with the Goat Golf Society with a great line up of courses providing enjoyable golfing experiences.
